Phi Alpha Theta - the history honor society - Cal Poly's Alpha Nu Gamma chapter is seeking Board members for the 2024-2025 academic year. We are a professional honor society whose mission is to promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians. We seek to bring students, teachers and writers of history together for intellectual and social exchanges, which promote and assist historical research and publication by our members in a variety of ways.

President - Chief officer of the organization, shall preside over meetings and prepare meeting agendas.  
Vice President - Outreach and membership; works with other officers as needed; social media with VP. 
Treasurer - Handles financial affairs of PAT, works closely with ASI RSO office and PAT faculty advisor
Secretary - Communications and records; social media with VP 

Eligibility for Board positions is limited to PAT members, and current Cal Poly students - but if you are eligible and not yet a member you can still apply to join the board but will need to join later.
